Design a system that fits your roof

We use satellite imagery of your home and your past electric bills to design a system sized to your roof and your energy use. Then we compare offers from our install and financing partners and bring you the best one.

  2. 2

    Apply for the solar program

You pick the offer that fits, and we submit your lease or PPA application to the financing partner. There's nothing to pay, and you'll know quickly if you're approved.

Same day to a few days
  3. 3

    Schedule an in-person site survey

A technician visits to measure your roof, check its structure, and look at your electrical panel. Those measurements finalize the engineering plans for your system.

About 1 to 2 weeks after approval
  4. 4

    Gather permits and approvals

The installer pulls building and electrical permits from your town and files an interconnection application with your utility. We track every approval and keep you posted.

2 to 6 weeks, varies by town and utility
  5. 5

    Install

The crew mounts the panels, installs the inverter equipment, and wires everything to your electrical panel. Most homes are finished in one to two days.

    1 to 2 days
  6. 6

    Inspection and power on (PTO)

Your town inspects the finished work, then your utility grants Permission to Operate, called PTO. Once you have PTO, your system turns on and starts producing power.

2 to 6 weeks, varies by utility
  7. 7

    Save money every single month

Your panels produce power every day the sun is up. The financing partner monitors and maintains the system for the length of your agreement, and we're still your point of contact if anything comes up.

    Every month of your agreement
